SMS Terms of Service

These terms govern the Woodbury Vineyards & Winery text message program. By opting in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not opt in, or reply STOP at any time.

1. You must be 21 or older

We sell wine. You must be at least 21 years of age to subscribe to our text message program. We verify age before consent is collected — on our website through a date of birth check, at checkout where date of birth is confirmed for lawful alcohol sale, and in our tasting room where guests present government-issued identification before service.

If we learn that a subscriber is under 21, we will remove that number from the program immediately.

2. What we send

The program includes both transactional and promotional messages:

• Order confirmations and receipts
• Shipping notifications and UPS tracking updates
• Wine club shipment announcements and preference reminders
• Promotional offers, discount codes, and winery news

3. How to join

You are only enrolled if you affirmatively opt in, by one of these methods:

• Checking the SMS consent box on our signup form at woodburywinery.com
• Checking the SMS consent box during online checkout
• Signing a printed wine club or mailing list form in our tasting room

The consent box is never checked in advance, and you can always complete the form or your purchase without checking it.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

After you opt in, we send a single confirmation message. Standard message and data rates apply to that message as they do to all others.

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies, and is approximately four messages per month. Transactional messages about an order you placed are sent as needed and are not included in that estimate.

5. Cost

We do not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your plan with your mobile carrier. Contact your carrier if you have questions about your plan.

6. How to stop

Reply STOP to any message from us to cancel. We also honor END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT.

After you send a stop request, we will send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages. To rejoin, reply START or sign up again through any of the methods above.

8. Carriers and delivery

The program is available on most major United States mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and to network availability, and we cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered.

9. Changing your number

If you change or deactivate your mobile number, please tell us. You agree to notify us so that messages intended for you are not sent to someone who has since been assigned your old number.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors performing services on our behalf, such as customer service providers or shipping carriers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We never sell, rent, or lease mobile phone numbers or SMS consent records, and we never include them in advertising audience lists.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers before they take effect.
